Intro.. we all know that Nintendo despide weak wiiu sale in 2013, still holds on to the "9 mill WiiU's sold before april, and we also knows that Iwata some weeks ago commented on Nintendo’s financial situation. For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2014, and that he hopes that the company will be able to once again achieve “Nintendo-like” profits. And that Nintendo intends to continue creating “brand-new and unique proposals.
And what is this.. How can a CEO make such a bold statment and hold on to an all to high estimate at the curent sale, when it for sure will make the investors pissed, if nintendo not meet that goal.
Sure Mario 3d, WiiFit U, Donkey kong and all ready out games like zelda HD, Mario 2d and few other make the "WiiU appeal" bigger and it also look like the casual gamer, will start to notice WiiU... But still 9 mill is to much.. (bawl and MK can't help, they are not yet out) and "going back to wii level of sales next year".. it sounds crazy.

What can they show to turn it around, what could make such a huge impact in sales. ?
What i hope and think (and the point of this tread :)
Again a little intro.. I have made a topic here before on the fact that Wii-U is a virtual reality unit. becurse when you have a machine that can send the image to a extern screen that can be controlled by gyro and motion. then it's a VR set. And we have all ready seen some VR like in the "street view" app.
I had made treads other places explaining that nintendo could do VR by making a "Head version" of Upad.. use the same tecnic as in the upad in a Head mountered Display), but cheaper becurse it will not require buttons and touch screen (mayby not the cam either but that could be used to warning) Most people said that it would not be good or can't be done yet. (or some about Virtual Boy)
But that isent the case anymore. VR are comming and we all know it (many different sets are on the way) now it's not the case if it can be done or how "gimmick" it is.. it will come.. (and it will change the world )
THINGS THAT POINTS TO NINTENDO Wii-R
1. Nintendo made a machine that is totally prepared for it
2. They have hinted that the wiiu has a final secret
3. They always said that HD not was next step
4. Nintendo made Wind Waker HD ready for it.. can be played in first person and controlled by gyro (thats a VR game)
5.Nintendo are always first.. (Portable, analog, wireless controller, touch, motion, 3d glasses free)
REASONS WHY "WII-R" WILL MAKE WIIU GO WII
1. Mario 3d U, Mariokart U and Smash Brothers U can be played both on tv and in Wii-R mode (and online could even offer tv vs VR play)
2. Old games like Call of duty, mario 64 and waverace can be played in Wii-R (with a litle extra code)
3. Monster Hunter Wii-R
4. Two player VR (and others could follow the action on the tv screen)
5. They will get an explosion in new cool Indie games
6. And It's not just the games.. think miiverse and mii channel, nintendogs, nintendo e3 :) or from 3. part think louver tour, facebook, disneyland... app's
7.New Wii-R bundle.. Black wii-u, black Upad, Black (wireless) motion+/nunchuc Wii-R headset and Zelda HD to the same price as XboxOne
This is the perfect time.. They had showed that wiiu is a nextgen (nintendo consol) They had showed that it's a consol that can play games in 1080p 60 fps, and with a cool second screen upad controller, offering new ways of playnig, off tv play, and fast internet.
If they did it 1 year ago (sony and ms could had changed theire plans.. just fun) it would have been to much, and wiiu would not be a normal consol. this way wiiu is a normal consol, but with a very cool preperial. (it's like if ps2 came with singstar, it would have been the "karaoke game station" more safe to do it the other way around)
