But indies are perfect for mobile gaming. When I'm at home, I mostly play AAA-titles.

It makes more sense than the other way around (AAA titles with many compromises on the go, indie titles at home).

It really depends on what the OP prefers, the 3DS is a much better buy because the games are suited for hand held play while the Vita's triple A games, besides a few like Tearaway try to make it console gaming on the go. In terms of indie, I'm just pointing out that you can still get them on PC if you want to have your dose of them.
