Here's some perspective. Note that I am neither agreeing or disagreeing with the OP - time will tell.

Retail games expected to be released on the PS4 / XB1 by the end March 2014: (there are probably more)
Drive Club - PS4
Infamous: Second Son - PS4
Thief - PS4 + XB1
Wolfenstein: The New Order - PS4 + XB1
Titanfall - XB1

So 4 PS4 games and 3 XB1 games...

In the same period last year Wii had U the following games at retail:
Rise of the Guardians (48%)
Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth (50%)
007 Legends (40%)
The Amazing Spider-Man: Ultimate Edition (66%)
Lego City Undercover (80%)
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (82%)
Need for Speed: Most Wanted U (86%)
The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct (33%)
