I'm genuinely surprised at how many people just blindly follow the reviews especially aggregate ones like Metacritic. Killzone:SF is a very pretty game that genuinely shows off the next generation in a great light. While my largest complaint as an experienced gamer, Would be that I can tell that the campaign mode was short-changed at times to sacrifice making it as a launch title, I wouldn't say that it hasn't been an enjoyable experience so far though. It's a quality launch title that's actually impressed me in a lot of ways and it plays better than ever on the Dualshock 4. I would say it's a better game than Killzone 3 in many ways (More fun, superior multiplayer) but doesn't have quite the same luster as Killzone 2. (Which what do you expect for a launch title)?
In terms of multi-player, I'm enjoying it a good bit more than Battlefield) on consoles. It's simply fun and satisfying, the maps are good for the most part.
I'm truly curious how reviewers poorly rate Killzone's campaign considering how atrocious the campaign modes for Call of Duty and Battlefield typically are -- Yet are given a pass. A game like Killzone doesn't get a pass though.
