I've only played the GCN original, so I can't speak for all games in the series, but I find the gameplay in Animal Crossing engaging, rewarding, and highly addictive. There aren't many pre-set objectives and challenges in the game, which might be the source of your frustration, but I find that freedom and open-endedness of Animal Crossing to be very satisfying. |
That's the exact one i had. It was the last game i bought on my Gamecube. It used to take a lot for me to not like a game back then. The only Nintendo games i didn't like at any time was Metroid and Animal Crossing.
Metroid Prime was actually the 1st game i got on my Gamecube on christmas along with like 3 other games. Boy i loved that fucking game. Metroid Prime was an absolute masterpiece but its funny because i originally didnt like Metroid before Prime came out
I tried my best to figure Animal Crossing out but i just couldn't do it
I just dont understand the appeal for that game
The Japanese community love Animal Crossing but its gameplay is nothing special so the gameplay thing cant be a japanese thing that the OP is talking about
