Mastering characters that are supposed to be easy to master doesn't make my argument invalid. Especially when the same tactics for one character can translate easily to several others. Let's use Virtua Fighter as a comparison. A skilled player can master Akira, but may never master Kage-Maru and Lau because the styles of play are completely different. Mastering Killer Instinct characters is basically is basically knowing how to utilize their one or two unique abilities, because the core of the gameplay (combos) is essentially the same for each character. My main characters in the original KI were Jago, Cinder, SabreWulf, Glacier, and on occasion T.J. Combo. There wasn't much I had to memorize for each character because they were mostly the same in terms of mechanics. All of them had combo strings, and even their special moves could be pulled off with similar or identical controller motions. KI is not a legitimate fighter in my opinion.

KI isn't the most complex fighter, but its a game where you can easily see a difference between unskilled and skilled players. Go online and play, you'll see for yourself.

This is a silly argument that won't go anywhere. We understand your opinion, but I don't believe many will agree with you. The series is loved by hardcore fighting fans.

Lol many disagree with me and it's beloved by hardcore fighting fans??? Okay, we'll see how well it fareswith the hardcore fighter crowd. Hopefully, a lot better than how it was recieved at EVO 2013.
