Talked to my friend who works at a local gamestop (these are the entire store's numbers and not just his personal numbers):

Day 1 numbers:
Xbox sold: 20ish
PS4 sold: 40ish

They received 54 xboxes and 69 ps4s total so far.

From those numbers (US related), I was able to collect a total of

PS4 : 397 + 65   (60% to 63%)

XB1 : 267 + 5  (37% to 40%)

Total : 664 + 70

Again those figures perfectly match my original estimates for XB1 (35%-45%) and PS4 (55%-65%)
