If Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence were both announced before either were released and everyone knew there would be a 7 month gap between them, a lot of people would want to wait it out for the complete version instead of opting for the gimped version. Some people would just need their MGS3 experience then and there and wouldn't be able to wait, so would probably make a double purchase. I'm the kind of person that would wait, but I'm starting to understand those that can't. I still find it rotten that Sony won't pull a fan friendly move and allow GT5 Prologue buyers to upgrade to GT5 through DLC for $20 or at all. |
