You can always buy it used know... sell later and buy the gold edition new, supporting directly with your money just when they deliver the game as you wanted to be... Besides how many cars will be those monthly DLCs??

Idk how much DLC there is. I want to say 10 a month, for at least 4 months? I am fine with the amount of content that is in the game. I will likely just end up buying it new, I can't imagine it showing up used for more than $5-10 off for awhile.
