by discluding the WiiU from next gen consoles when not adding them to "all next gen consoles" you have denied it even the chance to be in the "next gen race", so there for, it can not win

The wii u is only next gen when it is convinient for it to be. Like in this case.

Maybe wii u will have the "purple ring of death" after the release of SM3DW because for many it would be the first time it has really been use.
