Well, yes. GT is very popular amoungst a certain group of people, but is largely unknown to the general public. I would bet that if you asked people who didn't already know what the biggest PS exlusive was very few would say it was Gran Turismo. On top of that GT is really the lone leviathan in the genre.

Sorry but it's still asinine to call anything as popular as GT, or even Forza for that matter, niche.
