***Cross-genre games can be nominated for multiple categories. If you're not sure what genre would best fit a game, I will try to help.
****Can also apply to games coming out 2014 or later. Or even never.
*****Only The Stanley Parable is eligible to win this award.

Don't feel obligated to nominate games for every category. Also, categories can be added upon request (though I reserve the right to deny said request), provided that they are requested by December 1st. I have not ruled out the possibility of more platform-specific awards (PSN, XBLA, eShop GOTY, anyone?), but the list is lengthy as is. Some might call it too much, and label me as a crazy person. To which I'd replay "it's my thread, so deal with it."

Now, after nominating up to five games for each category, feel free to sit back and enjoy as I constantly update the OP with incoming data. It's going to get lengthy.

The final deadline for nominations is December 24th at 12:00 AM. You may continue updating your lists until then. After a week of holiday-themed rest, I will be back with the Voting Thread on January 1st. In that thread, the top five nominees for each category will be voted on to decide the winner. At the end of January, voting will finish and results will be compiled.

So, we'll have a month to nominate, a week's break, and another month for voting. Should be more than enough time.
