Its a recovery file in case something goes wrong. Instead of risking customers get themselves into a bad state by installing the file, we are going to troubleshoot on a case-by-case basis. It is not a replacement for the online update. |
I was actually thinking that it wasn't the right file. My theory though, was that they hadn't actually finished the update patch, and had put a rushed one there previously. I'm sure the actual patch will make it's way there at some point.
