Well they said supply would be good during the holidays. Also sold out does not mean no supply its just means they cant meet demand. Also these sold out predictions are coming from people who no idea how many systems Sony is capable of producing. I think the jan feb stuff just means you wont be able to walk into a store and expect to see a console sitting on the shelves.
End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)
Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
