As much as I love Johnny Cash's version, there's a world of difference between both. Trent was in an extremely dark place when he wrote it. This is my go-to song these past months of my life.

Tons of love for both. I'm just in a place closer to the version I posted to the original. I'm a beaten old man (Yeah yeah, I'm ONLY 25 but the story goes beyond that) and I am where I am, looking at it all and wondering what the point of it all was when I still feel empty despite all I "have".

Trust me, I understand you. I'm 27 myself and I look at my life and wonder what the fuck do I have to show for it. Then I think back to when I was 17/18, with all those wishes and projects for the future and see that most if not all of them were for nothing, or at least feel like it.
