No, they are not. Unless you think Batman AA, AC are bad.
It´s just repetitive. Only sword and shield (and spear).
They should have include of other game play mechanics. But it´s a console release game, first time Crytek went with a rack-and-slash, it started as a 360 Kinect game.
PS: Why do you have this fixation in downplaying the technical aspects of this game, that even the unfavored reviews say it´s fantastic? Why note stic to the facts that is not well written and paced?
