thought the ps4 standby was 70w
http://www.dualshockers.com/2013/11/15/ps4-consumes-70w-while-downloading-in-standby-because-it-uses-the-main-apu-and-not-just-the-arm-chip/
heat is an issue, ps4 is running hot my tests concluded at least 10 degrees ferinheight more compared to 2nd model ps3 ive got 120 out the back of my ps4 thats pushing it i like to keep the peak exhaust air at 110 so im gonna be doing some mods the ps4 soon.
article is quoting DF temps 113 on the ps4 is actually the case itself the air coming out the back is much greater it even states this in DF article. by my test anything above or even at 140 would result in overheating protection being initiated and console failure
if this is true for the xb1 ill be surprised its got alot of vents and a external power i was even surprised at my ps4 tests that also has way more vent volume than any last gen ps3s
