I agree with what the OP video says but there are a few points he doesn't exactly mention...

- Many of the XB1 features are also on PS4 (netlix, browsing etc). Those features are not as comprehensive as XB1, but most of them are there. It's just that they are not as integrated as XB1. So the "sacrifice" is much smaller than it seems.

- On the other hand, most of those extra features on XB1 are behind a pay-wall, while completely free on PS4. So, for all those, somewhat more & better integrated features, not only do you have to pay $100 more upfront but you have to continue paying for the online service, otherwise the machine automatically becomes less usable than PS4 (even though you paid $100 more!)

- You can also get more of those features on PS4 with the PS Camera. Although it is not as complete and as well integrated as Kinect, it is cheaper ($60 vs $100), it is voluntary, it does not require to buy on day 1 and pay up front, it doesn't have the same privacy concerns. So overall, it's actually a better choice for most people.

- Finally, as he suggested, PS4 has a much better and more future-proof gaming hardware, which is the most crucial point.

- And a bonus reason, many people are obviously turned off by Microsoft policies and are concerned with the XB1 used as a trojan horse to consolidate and extend their Windows Hegemony on Desktops.
