well, you will obviously play only 1080p games as ps4 only owner (maybe also pc) if the games will be all 1080p so that it is easy to say that. would be more interesting to see if you really find it so important if half of the ps4 games wouldn't be 1080p.

PC gamer first. PS4/V second. I'll get the bone down the line when I can afford it and there is more 1080p games. Hopefully Halo 5 is. And I would find it of the same importance even if the situation was reversed. I wouldn't buy a PS4 until I knew for sure more games would be 1080p.

Yeah think I bought 1 sub 720p game in the first few years when I only had a 720p TV. Regretted that. The PS3 is still hooked up to that TV for that reason alone. It's not even resolution that bothers me. It is the stretching. If a 900p had a black line on the side and bottom I would find that preferable.
