I just found Malak infuriatingly long and arduous due to his huge de facto amount of HP.

You can kill off all of his imprisoned bodies before Malak uses them to regain health. That way, you only need to get his health down once and the fight's a lot shorter (note, you do need to have a ranged Force Power like Lightsaber Trow, Drain Health or Force Lightning).

I managed to figure that one out myself. It's just that as soon as i confronted him one-on-one, he'd have me dead in seconds.

Jedi fights in the first KOTOR were like the madness of the Vrook battle in KOTOR II, but *all the time*. KOTOR I left me feeling conflicted, because i could see the greatness, it was just veiled behind the glitches and the endless ass-whoopings that were handed to me. KOTOR II was just so much more *playable*.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
