first choice: cannibalism. i'd like to be served to the guests that attend my funeral.
second choice: natural burial. return to the earth in a natural way.
third choice: cremation. not ideal, but probably the best option that is in fact,.. legal.
i fully agree with the OP. an embalmed burial seems selfish and disgusting. i don't want to be turned into a chemical soup to preserve my likeness like some sort of unnatural doll in a horror film. gross. then to take up land in this resource limited planet. fuck that shit. i'm not christian and i think it sucks that christian ideals have limited the options of how i can treated in death.
