I consider myself a core gamer, and their systems do appeal to me.

Maybe the GC should have had many skulls and fire in its design if that is what kept people from buying it.

Casual core then, you know the type I'm talking about, dudebro's into COD. But then the other type of gamers that like Bioshock ect, there aren't many on Nintendo home consoles and haven't been for 2 decades at least.
