We just have to make it cooler to be anti-fanboys than to pick sides. Right now, picking sides is still popular and people align themselves by saying "we" when referring to MS or Sony as if they are shareholders.
Fanboys are idiots, but it's fun to see some losers bash it up.
Funniest story. When I criticized the X1 policies I had an xbox fanboy tell me that I'm not a real xbox owner because my gamerscore was under 10000. I literally rolled over laughing. You gotta imagine that statement with a pee wee bucktoothed kid with his khakhi shorts up to his nipples with pens jammed in his breast pocket. No other imagery is possible.
