Microsoft funded the development. Without them, Dead Rising 3 wasn't possible.

 

They didn't pay Capcom to avoid releasing it on Ps4. MS both funded and published the game.

Im just saying I don't think this game could have broke even without being assisted by either publisher. MS paying for the development on XBO probably was a pressure load off to sell millions of copies.

I doubt it. Dead Rising has never been the huge million seller, not the impressive system seller. It has reached very healthy numbers, though.
