3.5% with a very small sample (way too small to build accurate statistics actually)... But I still believe 3.5% with a small sample of people is kind of worrying...

Agree, to small and too early for that sample size to mean much.  I'm pretty concerned about the ps4 failure rate, if it is higher than 4% within the first week, then what will it be in a year.  It's a little bit scary.  I plan on buying and extended warranty like BenV suggested.
