I got lucky, had not pre-ordered but the store I always go to called me and asked if I wanted a ps4 at launch since I had already picked up a controller. They said they rather sold one to their regular customers then to people that would only sell it on Ebay.
Picked it up at midnight, in and out in 15 minutes. They had the consoles and other stuff all sorted by name ready to hand out. Best way to shop and why I don't want game retail to go away.
