Not quite. I have seen some people respond to attempts to put this in perspective as "lol damage control". That's more than a bit aggressive in its own right.

The fact of the matter is that a certain failure rate is expected, especially with DoA units, especially at the launch of a new product. This is something that most people knew was going to happen. It's going to happen with the Xbox One, too. Until we know if the failure rate is abnormally high, there is little point in claiming that the sky is falling.

I said a few weeks ago that I look forward to watching people act shocked and angry that there are launch problems and issues with both systems. It's entertaining to see history repeat itself over and over.
