Not really. What I want is a nice, quiet Blu-ray player that doesn't double as a toaster oven and can easily fit in the spot my 2.5" high DVD player resides. That would be sweet.

Are you trying to troll or was that statement just sarcasm? Anyhow, good luck finding a blu-ray player as small as the PS3.

Neither.  I'm looking for a nice, quiet, cool-running, low-profile Blu-ray player.  I would hate to see your collection of audio/video equipment if you consider the PS3 to be "small" compared to the standard DVD player these days.
