Yeah I mean by the time the game releases it'll have been in development for over 4.5 years (assuming they started mid/late 2010 and it releases Q1/2 2015), it must be the open-world sci-fi RPG that was rumoured, that would explain the long dev time, It's going to be huge and I imagine the reason Shuhei Yoshida was too scared to even describe it in a single word was to not give anything away and spoil the upcoming announcement of what will be a huge project in terms of size, impact & budget.
@Bolded, why can't it be both? Although that said, I don't think they're going to show more of the new UC so soon and if they do it'll just be a very vague in-engine trailer not explaining much. The Order 1886 was announced quite a while ago and we've only just recently learned a little bit about the story/setting and we still haven't seen the gameplay in action, I reckon we'll definitely see that at the VGA's, not so sure about UC;
Also SSM have already been working on their new IP for almost 3.5 years, they must be ready to announce it by now and have something to show. The VGA's next month would be the best time to show what they're cooking up with so much attention from the media & consumers focused on the PS4 and also because the launch exclusives are apparently disappointing, so in addition to the new UC & The Order 1886 we need another major top-tier exclusive to look forward to on PS4.
