The original story in August said the interns never actually dealt with the PS4 (they're interns not experienced fast employees... ) they were put to do the more mundane tasks , which is what caused the outrage to begin with. Placing stickers, packing, cleaning, and all sorts of hand work that didn't actually require manufacturing/assembling hardware.
If you've ever worked in manufacturing or at an assembly line, you'd know exactly what position these guys were given, and why they were so angry. You'd also know why sabotage, at least to this level, cannot possibly be true.
