Consoles last generation were pretty disappointing too but luckily nintendo decided what was best and it was for the WII not to be a dumbed down PC. Seeing as I was a fan of the PS2 before that generation I was especially disappointed how sony turned the PS3 into a dumbed down PC. I was fucking pissed at sony for doing that and I was originally a console gamer too so after sony rejected my desire of a good console I went to nintendo to get my fix and I didn't look back once. It was a pretty good decision back then but the WII also dried up when nintendo decided to go full retard by not supporting the WII properly through a little over half way through it's life. I was left out of choices and I heard some good shit about PC so I decided to see what's up, low and behold I found a pretty good platform.
I'll get a WII U eventually for mario kart and smash as well as X. I'll go get a PS4 eventually to get my JRPG fix. Thankfully the PS4 dropped the "it can only do everything" slogan and opted out for being more consoles like which I give credit there. I'm sorely disappointed that nintendo went for the dumbed down PC route also.
You notice a pattern here ? All of the console manufacturers want us to embrace dumb down PCs so y'know what I did ? I responded back by embraced it's true form called the real PC aka the master race LMAO.
