Well you can keep the games if you go back to silver, there is that. But also a great game, no matter how old, is great to someone who never played it before. But to explain why PS Plus gives away newer games....its because they have ground to cover. Sony missed out on years of subscription fees and want to catch up fast. You loose your games if you opt out, which they certainly don't want. Vita also has crazy good PS Plus deals, but that is because they want as much Vita sales as they can get. The deals aren't so much that Sony is super generous, it is because they want to gain ground, since MS is reletively content with their Gold, until they recently found that it is in their best interest to be competitive in this regard. It is the same end result to the gamer, which we have nothing to complain about, but let's just be clear on the "why" aspect of it. |
I know why they do it, but for me as a gamer the result is what counts
I know older games also have value, Sony also gives us some older titles sometimes, but let's face it - it's better to get games that are worth $30 than $5
There was this guy two or three days ago trolling that PS+ is pure evil, a disguting moneygrab, has no value, etc. I'm not sure if he's a MS fan, but he showed that one may try to argue with giving free games. One may try...
Also I hope that this move from MS is gonna put some pressure on Sony. MS giving games forever is noticeably better, so I hope Sony changes its policy in this regard.
Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!
