A lot of people on the forums are definitely overblowing the whole resolution thing. But the difference will be quite clear in real life on a 46 inch 1080p screen. Average consumers will definitely be able to see the difference, especially if they are given the chance to see both. People who are saying that theres no difference are equally as delusional as those overblowing the difference. This is why PC guys hate console games. Once you game at 1080p its VERY difficult to go back to native 720p. Doesnt really matter if you are a graphics whore or not. Resolution is one of the main configurations that effect the image you see. This issue is made worse when you have a native 720p image running on a native 1080p screen..displays are particularly bad at showing images at resolutions not at their native res. |
I can honestly say I don't see the difference. I still buy DVDs because I find the difference with Blu-Rays to be minimal and I won't be paying extra for it. I have a ton of games on my PC and I don't see the difference with my PS3 or Wii U games.
