But, you can't blame overly energized internet goers that consider anything under an 8 "lackluster". The gaming journalist world are partly to blame. KNACK, yes, bad! Killzone, average to above average. All esle looks about what I expect out of a console launch.

To answer this exaggerated topic: Ryse will be butchered, Dead Rising may get in the 70s, and Forza will score just a tad lower than previous iterations.


To me, lackluster is in the 7-8 range. Not great, not bad, but decent to good quality. 

I'm not saying it's a bad lineup, on the contrary. The Ps4 launch lineup is LEAGUES better than the Ps3's lineup on 3rd party software alone. I do think some games suffered from the rushed launch window, they could have used a bit more time in development.
