Oh we get along perfectly fine. And no, there is nothing close about us, it is just a work relationship, but I figured I might as well try. Not like it'll be awkward if I ask her out and never see her again.
Worst comes to worst, she says no, but I made her happier for the next couple weeks to help her through a bad breakup.
Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.
