Because judging by this forum the past few days, people, shockingly, can't see the difference between 720P and 1080P, and games still look beautiful in 720P in their eyes.

Should the ability to distinguish between 720/1080 preclude you from seeing a beautiful game in 720?

Neither should your preference towards one company obstruct you from raising your standards higher and expect a beautiful game fully rendered in 1080p 60fps. That's what you expect from a dedicated next generation console that their PR claimed to be beta tested in the future.

Hopefully, the people who buy XB's this gen has a better reason to do so than simple brand loyalty.
