3D has remained a smaller niche market feature, but for those who actually spent the extra money for the set up, it makes a difference.

I figure when I finally get around to replacing my HDTV (which probably won't happen until it dies or it's broken in an accident), I'll buy a replacement that has 3D capabilities, even if it's just for a handful of movies on BD that I really want to enjoy in 3D. I'd take advantage of games in 3D for the handful that support it as well.
