The power of the Cell phone has more than doubled every year for the past 4 years.  So, 4-5 years from now, the will probably have more than enough power to handle most games.

With that said/ I wasn't speaking only to smartphones, I was also talking about tablets.

And in four or five years from now PCs and and the consoles that come after will still have significant more power to deliver an even better gaming experience than any tablet around at the same time.

It's only when tablets provide a gamepad with rumble feedback, motion sensing and 1080p@60 output to a 60" TV I will say the console is dead.
