I would go 60" or larger if you have the right room. Everything else is too small. Those are both decent TV's. I prefer LG over Vizio, but I would get the Vizio simply because of the size. If you can get a deal and have the right room for a 70" or 75" do that.

This is my current main TV I got at the beginning of the year:

While the 240 hz trumotion and the passive 3D and all the extra features are pretty nice and look insanely cool, I don't really use the 3D all that much and the trumotion only looks "right" in certain situations.  For instance for sports and really anything fast with panning camera the higher the hz the better so it gets turned on for that stuff.  But for watching tv shows and other slower things like drama movies trumotion looks horrible. Even going from a 60 inch to a 60 inch, I wish I had gotten a TV with less features that was 70 or 75 inch instead of 60.. .You pay out the ass for the extra  features...Oh yeah no matter what you get either, buy the disney wow calibration disk or pay someone to calibrate it.  If you don't properly calibrate your TV you aren't watching it right.  Using the built in calibration pictures in TV demos and setup are not accurate enough.  Once you go over 60 you wont go back.  Can't stress it enough, Get the biggest your room will allow proper distance to use.  Also, while harder to find nowadays, there are DLP TV's that are AMAZING such as Mitsubishsi's especially the Laservue.  I have a 65" mitsubishi DLP that has incredible 3D...but yeah that Vizio I am sure would be a decent set.  So would the LG but inches are a big deal if you are going to be watching that for 7-10 years and whatnot.
