No they didn't. The E3 build was even worse and this is also what the op says.

maybe it's my hazy memory but I could swear that the e3 footage i saw in 1080p was better than what is being shown in df's pics.  The game looked native 1080 at e3 but now it looks like crap for a next gen game. 

Pretty sure that was cinematic teaser at the launch event
