Why do you compare IOS and Google methods with Consoles? Those devices are not meant for Games and they won't invest money like Console developers do in Gaming. There are so many passionate people working in Game industry and they work hard to bring innovative things in big projects unlike IOS/Google which is small games in any way.  Also IOS/Google installl base is huge and people will buy new one's every year(have multiple devices) so there is no problem allowing to login in any device , unlike Consoles are limited in Install base so they have restrict this way otherwise only one will buy games and will share with every friend. How do you think games will sell then and what about the developers who worked on this?

My only point is you should not compare Consoles with Mobile devices which are meant for other purposes and doesn't have  AAA games like Consoles.

I was comparing their digital content policies... not games. Did you actually read what I put? It has nothing to do with investment or anything else
