I went to gamestop the other day and a group of kids and their parents were talking about how they were tired of paying for gold on xbox and decided on getting the PS4 for its free online. The gamestop employee did not correct them.
But yeah even saying that, casual gamers go to IGN too and read their articles too. Those Xbox One vs PS4 comparison videos will be affecting the consoles' sales. There seems to be this notion that only the hardcore gamers pay attention to those videos.
