thats not a fair comparison to make. because it doesnt include other factors such as culture and historical crime rates.
When you look at the crime rates of said european nations, before they enacted strict gun control, they already had lower gun homocide crime rates than the US. In fact after enacting gun control, most of the time their crime rates went up, or decreased at a slower rate they they already were.
