I save a lo of money buy the "same game" as you put it over and over. that way money I spend on games overall isn't much because gta, nba 2k series and cod is enough to satisfy my gaming interest. and on the surface cod might look the same to people who don't bother but I think the differences are quite obvious when you look at a cod player's play time history.

cod 4 : 8 days
waw 12 days
black ops 4 days
mw2 100+ days
mw3 50 days
black ops 2: 1 day
for ghost I think I will be sticking with it for a long time.
the bonus to playing cod is the value is far greater than most games. they cost the same as every other game but after 2 weeks I don't want anything to do with gta 5. cod is high on replay ability. when did mw2 come out? I would still be playing that if the online didn't get so unstable.
I won't bother trying to say how cod games are different but the varying play time tells that somewhere in there, they are, and sometimes you just need a new coating on something you love to boost the amount of players online.
