Yet it made more money than GTA V... This may be the decline of CoD but its still very sad to see them sell so damn high...

Then you'd be assuming take two only shipped $800m-$1b worth of GTA. That is highly unlikely, since they sold $800m day one (to consumers)

Well... its not only that, I am taking into account how much each game probably costed to develop... I think GTA V took 295 million to make (correct me if I am wrong) And Ghosts probably took 40 million, even 50 million if lucky... So its not only how much did they both sold which Ghosts did sell the same amount as GTA V in day 1 if not more, Its also how much did each game took to make...

Do take into account I have no hard facts of the development costs of Ghosts but I doubt it took much at all

No, my point is that Ghosts didn't come anywhere close to selling as much as GTAV day one. It sold less than $500m day one, while GTAV sold $800m. Simple as that. Even with the 200-250m difference in dev costs, GTA still profited more on day 1.

Probably due to GTA only being on current gen and people waiting 5 years.
