Poor PS3, yet it still has its lead on the 360 and still outsells everything but the 3DS. Ultimately, there wasn't much thay changed. Still, I admit that you crack me up with your unwarranted pessimism.

True, I was referring more to the 80mil landmark which it hit. It's still doing incredibly well for such an old system (but is rather down YoY, but that's to be expected). Will it outsell the Wii? I'm not so certain anymore, but even if it doesn't it'll be quite the turnaround from the relatively ropey beginnings. 

Unless PS3 completely drop off the cliff next year, it will outsell the Wii.

 

It already droped off the cliff, PS3 will not even match 10 million this year (will be around, 9. something million). If PS3 sales sustain this level, it will need more 2 years to reach Wii sales. It is possible, but not so certain how you are saying. 

If it beat Wii, would be funny, because PS3 is a console that never sold well, but is a Highlander that never dies.

So, it's only going to sell only 2.4M in November and December while it sold 2.0M from July to September? Dude, if you want to participate in this topic, I suggest you put more thought in your post.

 

Why I`m here? I will try to be educated.

PS3 sold 6.573 million until 2th november. We have only 9 weeks and three days until the years end. To match what I said, PS3 needs to sell 3,327 million. I don`t said it will sell 9 million, but 9. something, wich is 9.0-9.99. 

Let`s look at last years sales: 3th november until 05th january - PS3 sold 4,8 million and I gave it 4 more days. If you discount your 30% (look at your post, "dude") = 4.8 - 30% =  3.36 million for this year! 

So, if PS3 sell that amount it will not reach 10 million (almost, of course).

I can be wrong, but this is not a random comment.

Let remember something: PS4 launch this year and we have this PS3 sales (6,5 million in 10 months), that maybe is still a little overtracked, with GTA Bundle.
