penello's wrong. kowenicki promised me that MS is years ahead of sony. they have the best engineers in the world, THE BEST.  sony will of course be playing catch-up on cloud technology for years to come.  they simply don't have the infrastructure...

I do so love when people get exposed for talking out of their asses months later. It just makes it that much more satisfying.

OT: I am interested to see how Gakai can pull off BC through streaming when the service is open to an entire consumer base. I imagine it's a much more demanding undertaking than music and movies.

I don't expect a seamless, smooth and uninterrupted gaming experience with Gaikai. No way like the gaming we are used to.

Yeah, I think I'll be holding onto my PS3 for a good while. I actually still have a modded PS1 in my closet.

Ι believe few people will benefit from those services. But to have a game's performance be depended on cloud services is unfair to the rest. Few people will play the game, as it meant to be played. The rest will experience a lesser version, be it in terms of AI or graphics.
