TOKYO, Nov. 6, 2013 — Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCE) today announced that cumulative sales of the PlayStation 3 (PS3) computer entertainment system has reached a milestone of 80 million units*1 worldwide as of November 2, 2013.

As of September 30th 79.4million
June 30th to September 30th 1.1million
As of October 17th 80 million
So in 4months 1.1million, but in two weeks 600,000. ok then........
I guess we will finally know that PS3 passed 360 at the end of the calendar year.
Edit we have PSP ahead of PS3 again 79.99, I wonder when (If) Sony will announce 80million sold for PSP?
