Yeah, I was just using the most obvious example. The PS3 Eye is definitely going to track the human
body, because that's what the PS2 version did. The cards are a new trick.

No, that's the Eye of Judgement (are they the same?)  All I know is the Eye of Judgement smites non-PS3 owners with their beam of judgement and unleashes the armies of Mordor upon an unsuspecting earth.
