I can't wait for remote play on my Vita.
That being said, the only functionality I'm banking on working well is the direct ad-hoc wireless connection between the Vita and the PS4 in close proximity with no other infrastructure required. I have high hopes for its functionality within my home wireless network (my PS4 will be hardwired through my gigabit switch to my wireless router), and low expectations for remote play in WiFi out in the wild.
The conclusion of all of this is, of course, that I fully expect to be able to play PS4 on my toilet with low latency and high flatulency.
